VerifyEmail Pricing FAQs

Do you charge for unknown ("catchall") results?

Yes, because thanks to waterfall platforms like Clay, it creates an adverse incentive to send unverifiable emails to as many providers as possible knowing you won't pay anyway. This drives up our costs and makes it impossible to offer the best rates to our legitimate customers.

Our pricing is the cheapest/best value in the industry so if you set us higher on your waterfall, any charge spent on these 'unknown' statuses will be offset by the many more non-catchall traffic that will yield results. We have no subscriptions, minimums or contracts, so there is no reason NOT to do this.

FindEmail FAQs

Do you only charge for verified emails?

Yes, because we run a 'guess-and-check' algorithm that runs permutations of your inputs against our email verifier, by definition any result returned must have already been verified.

Volume Pricing

How do I get discounts for (volume)?

Since we run a consumption-based model (no subscription fees, no contracts, etc), we offer discounts based on volume of usage-- not commitment. This means that you don't get discounts for buying credits in bulk upfront, but by driving more volume through the product.

How does volume pricing work?

As per our listed pricing, you will pay for one price for the first million requests that you process in your billing period and every request after that will come in at a discounted rate. Your billing period is established as the day of the month when you made your first credit purchase.

How do I check how close I am to volume pricing?

You can see this in the admin panel here.

Custom Pricing

Can I get custom pricing?

Our policy is to offer the same price for all of our customers. As a thesolocapitalist.com portfolio company, we keep our costs as low as possible and pass on the savings to our customers constantly (like AWS) -- custom pricing makes this impossible, so we just don't do it. If you want to lower your costs, you may be able to do so through our various partner programs outline here.

No, you must misunderstand, I drive BIG volume, I need custom pricing!

We have customers doing millions of requests a month who work with all of the major players in the industry and they find us to be extremely price attractive, therefore unless you are doing tens of millions of requests in volume, it's unlikely your use case will warrant an exception. HOWEVER, we are obsessed with cutting our prices so we want to hear from you about your use case, current stack, alternative pricing, etc. All of our previous price cuts came from feedback like this, so rest assured it will help us cut prices. Go ahead and let us know via the support chat!

I insist on better pricing, can I talk to the founder?

Many people have tried this before -- our policies are firm and our leaders won't engage on this topic if you work around the system. The best way to improve your chances is to share your needs/business case in the support chat as mentioned above. They read/see everything you write anyway... escalating is more likely to hurt the case rather than help.
