Claude Code Users

To add the MCP directly in terminal, execute this command:

claude mcp add --transport http kitt https://api.trykitt.ai/mcp --header "x-api-key: YOUR_KITT_API_KEY"

To add the MCP in Claude Code UI

  1. Open the Claude Code UI and Click Settings >> Connectors

  2. Add a Custom Connector

  3. Fill out the mcp url https://api.trykitt.ai/mcp , then click 'next'.

  4. Under the Auth Options, select 'No Sign In'. Under Request Headers, add a header called 'x-api-key' and set the value to your Kitt AI API key, then click next.

  5. Give the appopriate permissions in the next screen.

  6. You should be all set. Just ask claude code to perform one of the supported actions.

Other MCP Clients

Kitt AI provides a hosted MCP server for your convenience.

To use it, simply:

  • Install an MCP compatible client like Claude Code

  • Tell the agent you want to use the mcp at https://api.trykitt.ai/mcp

  • Provide your API Key

The agent will fetch instructions from the server on how to use the API and will be able to execute operations for your.
